US-Israel-Iran War Escalates: Iran Threatens Gulf Oil Infrastructure, Explosions Rock Tehran
Middle East War LIVE: Tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate as the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran intensifies across the region. Iran has issued a strong warning that it could set the Gulf region’s oil and gas facilities “on fire” if attacks on its energy infrastructure continue.
The warning comes as Israeli strikes inside Iran increase and clashes between Israel and Hezbollah expand along the Lebanon border, raising fears of a wider regional war.
Iran Warns US President Donald Trump
Iran’s security chief Ali Larijani responded sharply to US President Donald Trump, saying Tehran will not stop until the United States regrets what he called a “grave miscalculation.”
In a message posted on social media, Larijani said that while starting a war may be easy, it cannot be won with a few statements or tweets.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Issues Strong Message
Iran’s new Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, speaking publicly for the first time since the conflict began, called for stronger action against the United States and its allies in the region.
Khamenei said the Strait of Hormuz should be used as strategic leverage and warned that Iran would avenge those killed in the ongoing attacks. He also demanded the closure of all US military bases in the region.
According to his statement, Iran will seek compensation for the damage caused by airstrikes and warned that if compensation is not provided, Tehran could target enemy assets in retaliation.
Strikes and Drone Attacks Spread Across the Region
The conflict has now spread beyond Iran and Israel, with missile and drone attacks being intercepted across several Gulf nations including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman.
Fresh explosions were reported in Tehran and other Iranian cities, with videos circulating on social media showing smoke rising above parts of the capital.
Meanwhile, a drone attack in northern Iraq reportedly injured at least six French soldiers stationed at a joint military base.
Israel Expands Military Operations
The Israeli military confirmed it had launched a new wave of strikes targeting Iranian positions and infrastructure. Israeli warplanes also carried out attacks in southern Beirut, targeting locations linked to Hezbollah.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Lebanon that it was “playing with fire” if it fails to disarm Hezbollah militants operating near Israel’s northern border.
Regional Security Concerns Grow
The United States Central Command reported that around 6,000 targets have been struck since the beginning of the conflict. Officials also said that dozens of Iranian naval vessels and minelayers have been damaged or destroyed.
As the conflict intensifies, several countries have begun evacuating citizens from the region while airlines and governments monitor the security situation closely.
