FatakNews.in is an independent digital news publication operated from India. The platform is funded through advertising and sponsored content, which is always labelled. Editorial decisions are kept separate from commercial arrangements.
Staff reporting is produced by named FatakNews journalists, each with a public profile page listing their beat and recent work. Community and opinion posts are clearly marked as user-generated and are not staff reporting.
Reporters prioritise first-hand information, official records, and named sources. When information comes from another outlet, it is attributed with a link. Anonymous sourcing is used only when the information is in the public interest and cannot be obtained otherwise.
Before publication, stories are checked for factual accuracy, fair representation, and legal risk by an editor. Breaking stories are published with the information confirmed at the time and updated as events develop, with the update time shown on the article.
